Turkey has agreed to maintain anti-Russian sanctions

Turkey has agreed with the US to implement Washington's "sanction maintenance scheme" against Moscow. As the "Hürriyet" newspaper writes, the American authorities will first inform Turkey about possible violations of anti-Russian restrictions by its companies.

As the author notes, the implementation of that "sanctions maintenance scheme" is meant to correct the situation when Turkish companies suspected of conducting commercial activities with the Russian Federation or of alleged financial relations with Russia appeared on sanctions lists in the US immediately and without conducting an investigation.
