Today, we are in the active stage of peace negotiations with Armenia, President Ilham Aliyev announced after the meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
"To date, we have held seven rounds of comment exchanges on the draft peace agreement with our Armenian partners," he emphasized.
The President of Azerbaijan added that the recent meeting of Foreign Ministers and the meeting of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia on the issue of border demarcation show that there is a good chance of settlement.
"This will be a severe geopolitical change in the South Caucasus. This will mean that peace will come to the Caucasus, a long-awaited peace," Aliyev said.
