Trump and Biden, the winners of their parties

US President Joe Biden has collected enough delegate votes in the primary elections to ensure his status as a candidate for the new presidential election from the Democratic Party. According to the results of primary internal party elections held in the states of Georgia, Mississippi, and Washington, Biden has already secured the support of more than 1,968 delegates needed for the nomination.

On the same day, primaries were also held in Hawaii, but their results were still being determined at the time of publication. Former US President Donald Trump won the Republican primaries in Georgia, Mississippi, and Washington, which allowed him to receive the votes of 1215 delegates needed to become the Republican Party's presidential candidate.
