Sweden will officially join NATO on March 7 and become the alliance's 32nd member, according to a statement from the US White House.
Earlier on Tuesday, the President of Hungary, Tamas Shuyok, signed the ratification of Sweden's membership in NATO. Hungary was the last NATO member not to allow Sweden to join the alliance.
