China does not want to see war and chaos on the Korean Peninsula and calls for a departure from the Cold War confrontation. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi announced this during a press conference.
"The current situation on the peninsula is becoming increasingly tense, which China does not want to see. The world is already chaotic enough; the subcontinent must not be plunged into war and chaos again. Anyone who wants to destroy peace and stability in the region will pay a huge price," said the minister.
