US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller referred to the searches that took place at "ToplumTV" in Azerbaijan and the arrest of several journalists.
"We call on Azerbaijan to end the persecution of those exercising their fundamental freedoms and to release those unjustly arrested for political reasons," Miller said.
