EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell has stated that creating a unified EU army does not make sense yet; it is necessary to work on the cohesion between the military forces of each alliance member country.
"Defense is every country's responsibility. The question is not to have a common EU army but to work better with the 27 armies," Borell said.
