The press service of the President of Moldova reported that Moldova and France will sign an agreement on cooperation in the defense field during the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maya Sandu's, working visit to Paris.
"From March 7 to 8, the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maya Sandu, will be in Paris. The working visit program includes a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysee Palace and the signing of cooperation agreements," the message reads.
The new document opens cooperation opportunities in areas such as personnel training, participation in international missions, airspace control, technology exchange, etc. France previously supplied Moldova with 200 Ground Master (GM) tactical radars to monitor the country's airspace and also donated a batch of military equipment.
