Georgia, Azerbaijan, Hungary, and Romania will build electric cables across the Black Sea.

Georgia, Azerbaijan, Hungary, and Romanian authorities are considering possibly creating a joint company to lay an electric cable under the Black Sea.
Georgia's Economy Minister, Levan Davitashvili, called laying the underwater electric cable an ambitious initiative. He said this will be crucial in ensuring a stable energy transmission chain and promoting cooperation between the countries participating in the project.
The agency believes the Black Sea cable project is an essential step toward energy security.
