Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Wednesday that Turkey is ready to accept the Russia-Ukraine negotiations again in Istanbul.
The Turkish leader reminded us that Ankara stands for the territorial integrity of Ukraine and makes efforts to "protect the rights and interests of the Crimean Tatars." Turkey is also ready to contribute to the restoration of Ukraine.
"I think that diplomacy and dialogue should be allowed to end the war with a just and lasting peace. It is essential to use all diplomatic channels at the highest level to achieve this goal. At the very least, we need to start working together to define common parameters for peace. In this regard, we fundamentally support Zelensky's ten-point peace plan," Erdogan said.
