Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeihun Bayramov received today in Baku the special representative of the European Union in the South Caucasus, Toivo Klaar.
According to Azerbaijani media, the parties discussed the current state of relations between Azerbaijan and the EU, the process of regulating relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the prospects of the draft peace treaty.
"Azerbaijan's comments on the draft peace treaty were presented to the Armenian side, and we are interested in starting a negotiation process in that direction. At the same time, the claims to Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty in the Constitution of Armenia, legislative acts, international organizations, and courts are inadmissible," Bayramov stated.
