"Ukraine will have the right to strike from an F-16 fighter." NATO Secretary General

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated in an interview with "Azatutyun" radio station that Ukraine will have the right to strike Russian military targets from the F-16.

When asked when Ukraine will be able to deploy F-16 fighter jets, Stoltenberg replied that it is impossible to say. He only noted that all allies of Ukraine want the fighter jets to be there as soon as possible.

According to Stoltenberg, each ally should decide to supply F-16s to Ukraine, and the policies of the allies in this matter are different. "Different allies have different policies. But, in general, Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine is a gross violation of international law. According to international law, Ukraine has the right to self-defense. It also includes striking Russian military targets outside the borders of Ukraine," he said.
