"We firmly support Ukraine." Kobakhidze

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, answering the Ukrainian journalist's question about the "second front," stated that they strongly support Ukraine.

"Unfortunately, the Ukrainian government and officials made several statements regarding the second front. They were the chairman of the Security Council of Ukraine and the advisers to the president, which is very unfortunate. But we have a powerful position towards Ukraine. We strongly support Ukraine politically. We provide humanitarian aid. As for our policy on sanctions, we have an apparent position here, too. We do not impose sanctions and have valid arguments in that regard. "Georgia is not used to avoid sanctions."

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell stated that Georgia and Ukraine should have the best relations because only Russia benefits from their confrontation. "We want Georgia and Ukraine to have better relations, and the only thing we can talk about is that only Russia benefits from their confrontation. Therefore, there must be a favorable position in this relationship."
