"We expect an early signing of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia." Foreign Ministry of Turkey

"After the second Karabakh war, a historic opportunity for peace was created for the South Caucasus," as reported by APA's Turkish correspondent, Mehmed Samsar, head of the South Caucasus, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe Department of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, announced this during his speech at the 27th Eurasian Economic Summit.

He noted that the assessment of this possibility is the beginning of a new era for the region.

"In this context, we expect an early signing of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia. We believe that with the completion of the normalization process of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, there will be no obstacles to the normalization of relations between our country and Armenia," he emphasized.
