It should be noted that the Houthis of Yemen supported the militants of that movement after the start of Israel's military operation against Hamas. It is reported that since November 2023, the Houthi rebels, with the support of Iran, have begun to attack ships passing through the Red Sea. At first, only ships related to Israel were attacked, but later, boats from other countries, including American ships, were also targeted.
