"Both alternatives are now under discussion." Minister of Transport of Turkey about the route passing through Armenia

The Minister of Communications and Transport of Turkey, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, spoke about the transport hub connecting Azerbaijan, Nakhichevan, and Turkey through the territory of Armenia.

In response to the journalist's question, the Turkish minister emphasized that there are two alternatives to the route.

"You know how work is carried out on this route passing through Armenia. This is a 43-kilometer-long route. If there is a problem on the Armenian side, Azerbaijan is also in contact with Iran regarding the possibility of crossing the corridor through Iranian territory. Therefore, there are two alternatives, which are currently under discussion," said the minister.

Uraloglu noted that Azerbaijan continues construction work in its sector.

"At the moment, the Azerbaijani side continues construction. A tender has been announced for Nakhichevan and our sector. The 106-kilometer-long road will be restored or reconstructed," said the minister.
