President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, stated in his speech after his inauguration that if Armenia does not "bring its legislation to a normal state," there will be no peace treaty.
"Our army showed its strength not in military exercises and parades but on the battlefield. Armenia and those providing military support to it should know that nothing will stop us," he said.
According to Aliyev, Armenia has forgotten the results of the second Karabakh war. "Or maybe someone violated them and did not fulfill those obligations at all."
Aliyev claimed that they have no territorial ambitions towards Armenia. "We have no ambitions for the territory of Armenia, but they should also give up their ambitions. Speaking with us in the language of baseless ambitions and blackmail will be expensive for them, and everyone can see that," he said.
