"We call for a just and stable peace in the South Caucasus." Foreign Ministers of France, Germany and Poland

The foreign ministers of France, Germany, and Poland, known as the "Weimar Triangle countries," met the other day to discuss joint actions and international positioning priorities. Among other issues, the ministers also touched on the situation in the South Caucasus.

"We call for just and stable peace in the South Caucasus. We support the mediation efforts of the European Union and the United States of America to facilitate the dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We reaffirm our support for the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of the states of the South Caucasus," the statement said.
