The US House of Representatives impeached the Secretary of Homeland Security

The Republican-led US House of Representatives has begun impeachment proceedings against US Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas in a historic vote on Tuesday. He is the first cabinet secretary to be impeached in 150 years. Two hundred fourteen people voted in favor and 213 against. Moreover, three Republicans voted with the Democrats.
Republicans accuse Mallorca of crimes and misdemeanors related to the migrant crisis at the US-Mexico border, though constitutional experts say the evidence is insufficient. CNN reported this.
