The Polish independent trade union of individual farmers, "Solidarity," announced that on February 20, they would block all border crossings between Poland and Ukraine, as well as railway stations and roads leading to seaports.
Farmers are protesting against the uncontrolled flow of goods from Ukraine to Poland due to the EU decision. They say the lack of regulation calls into question the profitability of agricultural production, processing, and other agriculture-related industries.
