Iran worries about the growing tension on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanani, announced this, calling on the parties to resolve the disputes peacefully.
Kanani called on Armenia and Azerbaijan to exercise restraint after border clashes between the two countries left several people dead and injured.
He believes dialogue and diplomacy are the only ways to achieve stable and permanent peace. He also called on the parties to speed up efforts to reach a peace agreement.
