Alexander Stubb, the candidate of the National Coalition Party, won the second round of the Finnish presidential elections. The press service of the Ministry of Justice of Finland reports. He is the leader with 51.6 percent of the votes.

His opponent, former Foreign Minister and member of Parliament Pekka Haavisto received 48.4 percent of the votes. He has already accepted defeat. It is noted that participation in the elections was 67.6 percent.
