NATO promises to give a united and robust response to any attack on the alliance, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said. Reuters quotes his words.
"Any attack on NATO will receive a united and powerful response," he said.
Stoltenberg also noted that any assumption that NATO allies will not protect each other undermines the security of the entire alliance and puts American and European soldiers at risk.
