Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin stated in an interview with "RIA Novosti" that refusing to join the Eurasian Economic Union will not benefit Armenia. According to him, it is against the interests of the country.
"From an economic point of view, Yerevan's membership is certainly beneficial, and its rejection, in our opinion, would be contrary to the interests of that country," said the diplomat.
