There are thousands of demonstrations demanding the return of prisoners in Israel

Thousands of people protested in parts of Israel on Saturday, demanding a change of government and the release of Israeli hostages remaining in Gaza.
Demonstrations are becoming a regular occurrence in Israel. Last spring and summer, weekly mass protests against Netanyahu and his government took place over planned judicial reforms but were called off on October 7 after a brutal attack by Hamas. As anger grows over how Netanyahu will handle the hostage crisis, such protests may soon resume.
