A terrorist attack was prevented in Georgia. There are Georgians, Ukrainians, and Armenians

The State Security Service of Georgia (SSSG) reported on preventing terrorism. According to the department, within the framework of investigative operations, according to preliminary operational information, as a result of the search of a specific vehicle by the employees of the anti-terrorist center, two batteries intended for an electric car were seized. According to the State Security Service, the batteries were used as containers for transporting explosive materials and devices.

As a result of operative-investigative and investigative operations carried out by the State Security Service of Georgia, it was found that seven citizens of Georgia, three citizens of Ukraine, and two citizens of Armenia took part in delivering the mentioned explosive devices to Georgia and transporting them through the territory of Georgia.

According to the case materials, this process was organized by a citizen of Ukraine, Andrey Sharashidze, a candidate for the deputy of the Kyiv region of the local council of the Odesa region in 2020 and a native of Batumi.
