The Ministry of Defense of Syria reported on the deaths of civilians and military personnel as a result of the US strikes.
"The airstrikes in the USA caused great damage to state and private property," added the agency.
"The EU considered the situation critical in the Middle East after the US strikes in Syria and Iraq," said Josep Borell, calling for de-escalation.
"The US strikes are another violation of sovereignty and security," stated the Syrian Foreign Ministry.
