President of Iran Ibrahim Raisi announced on Friday: "Iran will not start a war, but it will resolutely respond to anyone who tries to intimidate it." Earlier, the US announced that it was planning attacks on Iranian facilities in Iraq and Syria.
"We will not start any war, but if someone wants to intimidate us, they will receive a decisive response," Raisi said in a televised address.
"Before, when they (the Americans) wanted to talk to us, they said that a military option was being considered. Now they say they have no intention of entering into a conflict with Iran," Raisi added.
