An Armenian-Azerbaijani inter-parliamentary meeting is possible in Geneva

In March, Armenia and Azerbaijan can start discussing creating an inter-parliamentary dialogue platform in Geneva. The issue was discussed in Baku during the meeting between the General Secretary of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Martin Chungong, and the Azerbaijani authorities.

At the same time, at the end of March, an informal meeting of the presidents of the two countries' parliaments is planned within the framework of the regular assembly of the inter-parliamentary union.

"I will invite the Speaker of the Parliament of Azerbaijan to Geneva to hold negotiations with Armenian partners and advance the agenda of creating that platform for permanent dialogue. We hope to organize such a meeting during the next assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, which will take place on March 23-27 this year," Chungong stated.
