The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, said Iran has significantly reduced the creation rate of highly enriched uranium reserves. He made such a statement in an interview with The New York Times newspaper.
According to Grossi, the dramatic increase in highly enriched uranium production will likely have declined. However, as the general director of the IAEA claims, Iran continues to increase its stockpile of enriched uranium up to 60%, which, in the event of further enrichment, can be used to create nuclear weapons. "There is a certain slowdown. They are still replenishing the reserves, but they are already slower," said the IAEA Director General.
