The European Union summit must secure a compromise from all 27 member states on providing Ukraine with 50 billion euros in long-term budgetary aid while maintaining transparency in the spending of the funds, which will go toward weapons and teacher salaries.
The Chairman of the EU Council announced this to the Prime Minister of Belgium, Alexander De Croo, upon his arrival at a high-level emergency meeting.
