Austin and Stoltenberg discussed increasing arms production for Ukraine

The Pentagon stated that US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin discussed with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Monday, January 29, the critical need to rapidly increase defense production for Ukraine's needs.
"Each noted the importance of rapidly ramping up defense production to extend support to Ukraine, replenish the alliance's stockpiles of munitions and equipment, and meet the increased requirements of the defense plans adopted at the Vilnius summit," the statement said.
