Currently, the Ukrainian army has about 880,000 people. The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced this in an interview with the "ARD" TV channel.
"We have 880,000; we have a million-strong army," he said, answering the question about the army's size. "Besides, about 30 million people are working for us now; I can't say the exact number. 6.5–7.5 million people went abroad," said Zelensky. In February 2022, the number of armed forces in Ukraine was about 260 thousand, of which the ground forces were about 250 thousand.
