The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received the delegation led by Hulusi Akar, Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Chairman of the Defense Parliamentary Committee, and former Minister of Defense of Turkey.
"Armenia should, as soon as possible, accept the hand of peace extended by Azerbaijan, and peace and tranquility should come to the region as soon as possible. We strive for it. Yerevan should know that any initiative that will be taken in any way, with incentives and directions, will not bring any benefit to it or the region and will not make people's lives easier because some countries somehow want to dress Armenia as a "proxy" or "state" uniform. If Armenia goes down that wrong path, it will suffer serious losses, as happened in the case of the 44-day war. This cannot be allowed. The main thing for us is peace, tranquility, and the future of the Caucasus," added Akar.
