The Euractiv platform reported that the European People's Party (EPP), which has the largest faction in the European Parliament, is preparing to support the candidacy of Ursula von der Leyen as the president of the European Commission for a second term.
Von der Leyen has not announced his intention to head the list of EPP candidates in the European elections. "However, it is becoming increasingly obvious that it is only a matter of time," writes Euractiv.
