Aliyev included the conclusion of peace with Armenia in the pre-election program

The campaign for the presidential election scheduled for February 7 is underway in Azerbaijan.

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has published his pre-election program, where the foreign policy goals for 2024–2031 are noteworthy. Radar Armenia presents Aliyev's promises in foreign policy, among which the signing of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the lack of corridor logic are noteworthy.

They are:

* Continuation of an independent and principled foreign policy based on national interests and international law,

* Signing a peace treaty with Armenia based on 5 fundamental principles put forward by Azerbaijan,

* Continuation of efforts to establish stable peace in the South Caucasus and make it a development region,

* Formation of Azerbaijan's non-conflict agenda,

* Strengthening bilateral relations with neighboring countries,

* Protection of Azerbaijan from geopolitical and hybrid threats

* Further strengthening of Azerbaijan's role in international relations, formation of international security architecture, and solving of global problems

* Further strengthening of relations with Turkic states and the Organization of Turkic States,

* Increasing the number of strategic partners and allies,

* Promoting the green energy program, increasing the use of alternative and renewable energy and, subsequently, contributing to the global fight against climate change,

* Further strengthening of the role of Azerbaijan as a transport-logistics center.
