"Israel has no right to veto Palestinian statehood." EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said Wednesday amid a fierce debate between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the international community over what will happen after the end of the war in Gaza.
"Israel cannot have the right to veto the self-determination of the Palestinian people. They do not have the right to veto. If the UN recognizes the Palestinian people's right to self-determination, as it has done many times before, no one can veto it," Borel said.
