On Tuesday evening, the US Central Command reported that the US military had struck two Houthi anti-ship missiles in Yemen that were intended to be launched in the southern part of the Red Sea.
The Houthi missiles posed an immediate threat to US Navy merchant ships and other ships in the region, CENTCOM said. It comes after the US and UK launched additional strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen on Monday.
