The war in Ukraine is a battle of ammunition. NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg warned. "Because the alliance has signed a €1.1 billion deal to buy more ammunition for its members. The EU promises to produce one million artillery shells for Ukraine by spring. This was announced by the press secretary of the European Commission for Internal Market, Defense Industry, and Space, Johanna Bernsel, and the European Commission for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy representative, Peter Stano. In particular, as Bernsel said, the European Commission is confident that the annual production capacity of the European defense industry will reach the set goal of one million projectiles.
