The US wants close cooperation with Azerbaijan and Armenia on a peace agreement

During today's briefing, Vedant Patel, the chief deputy press secretary of the US State Department, stated that the USA wants close cooperation with Azerbaijan and Armenia on the peace agreement.

"I don't have any news [about the schedule of a possible meeting between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Washington], but we look forward to discussing it in more detail soon.

This is a matter of interest to the United States and the Secretary of State. We will work hard to reach the finish line, working closely with Armenia, Azerbaijan, and others working on this issue," he stated.
