The trade turnover of Georgia and Russia amounted to almost 2.5 billion dollars in 2023, which is 3% less than the figure of 2022—the data of the National Statistical Service of Georgia evidence this.
Russia ranks second among Georgia's largest trade partners. In 2023, its share in foreign trade volume was 11.2%. The export of goods from Georgia to the Russian Federation in 2023 amounted to more than 657 million dollars (2.2% increase), and the imports amounted to about 1.8 billion dollars (minus 5%).
