The German authorities hope that around 10,000 Ukrainian service members will undergo training in Germany in 2024. The head of the working group announced this for coordinating aid to Ukraine under the German Ministry of Defense, Major General Christian Freuding.
"Currently, we expect it to be around 10,000 this year as well, but we can increase that number if necessary," Freuding told the Welt am Sonntag newspaper in an interview.
