Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili referred to the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations on the peace treaty during one of the discussions held within the framework of the Davos Economic Forum.
"Two years ago, I was doing support experiments. We had the first successful mediation when Azerbaijan released 15 detainees, and Armenia handed Azerbaijan maps of mined areas. It was a successful experiment. But this is a challenging situation. We understand that there are many players in this region. I know that the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia want to have bilateral relations. It's the right way because the process sometimes becomes more contradictory and inefficient with so many mediators and stakeholders. I wish them success. I hope they will find a solution and sign the peace agreement shortly," said Irakli Gharibashvili.
