Saudi Arabia will recognize Israel in exchange for the creation of a Palestinian state

Saudi Arabia's foreign minister announced in Davos that the kingdom may recognize Israel if a comprehensive agreement is reached that includes statehood for the Palestinians.

"We agree that regional peace includes peace for Israel, but this can only happen through peace for the Palestinians through the creation of a Palestinian state," Saudi Prince Faisal bin Farhan said at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
