Ukraine's Foreign Minister, Dmitry Kuleba, warned that the time for the US Congress to pass an agreement on financing aid to Ukraine is almost over. Still, he stated that even without the support of the West, Ukraine would not surrender under any circumstances.
"Even if we run out of weapons, we will fight with spades because the existence of a nation is at stake for Ukraine," he said in an interview with ABC News. Kuleba stated that more money for Ukraine would help avoid a confrontation between NATO and Russia, in which US troops would have to intervene.
