China has called for a large-scale and prestigious peace conference dedicated to the Gaza war. At the same time, Hamas released a video of the three Israeli hostages and announced that their fate would be revealed on Monday.
Speaking in Egypt over the weekend, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi called for "developing a concrete timetable and road map for the implementation of the 'two-state solution' and supporting the early resumption of Israeli-Palestinian peace talks."
