BBC reported to Radar Armenia that in the southwest of Iceland, on the Reykjanes peninsula, the volcano erupted for the second time last month. Lava flows towards the fishing village, which has been forced to evacuate again.
The slowly flowing molten rock had already approached the edge of Grindavik village by several tens of meters in the middle of Sunday.
In November, four thousand residents of Grindavik were evacuated due to the threat of an eruption. It started on December 18, but contrary to fears, the lava did not reach the village then.
After that, residents returned to Grindavik, and now they must be evacuated again.
