Reports from NASA show that 2023 has become the hottest year on the planet in the history of observations.
It is noted that the average temperature of the Earth's surface was approximately 1.2 degrees Celsius last year. The hottest month was July when the average temperature was about 1.4 degrees Celsius. This is a record high since 1880.
June to December also recorded the hottest temperatures of any month.
