"Great Britain and the USA are turning the Red Sea into a sea of blood". Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called the overnight airstrikes by the United States and Great Britain in Yemen a disproportionate use of force and accused the two countries of trying to turn the Red Sea into a "sea of blood."
Speaking to reporters after Friday prayers in Istanbul, Erdogan said Ankara was learning through various channels that Iran-backed Houthi forces had mounted a "successful defense" against the United States and Britain.
