Sejourne was appointed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, replacing Colonna

According to the French mass media, the leader of the "Renaissance" party, Stéphane Sejourne, has been appointed the new head of the French Foreign Ministry.

He replaced Catherine Colonna in this position. The 38-year-old politician has led President Emmanuel Macron's "Renaissance" party since September 2022.

The new composition of the French cabinet will be announced on Thursday. As expected in the reshuffle of the French parliament, key ministers: Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin, Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire, Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu, and Justice Minister Eric Dupont-Moretti retained their posts.
